An Original Acrylic Painting on high quality board of a fluffy white moth, Spilsoma Virginica. I was so captured by the beautiful contrast of the blinding almost artificial white of this moth and the colourful bark of the tree. I wanted this piece to look as if the observer, you, has just come upon this beauty in the middle of the night, and shone a light to get a better look. In the photos, I included a picture of the painting before I added the moth, just to give you an inside look into the process.
