This piece was painted in the depths of winter 2025/2026. I was looking to brighten the darkness of the scottish winter with a whimsical and vibrant piece, yet still holding onto the idea of the cold winter. I was inspired by many hares/rabbits I see here in scotland, and I love the way the light beams through their ears.
