When creating this piece, I was inspired by the countless foxes I see here in Glasgow. I often see them through my bedroom window in the backgarden, and as they approach I notice that all the animals - squirrels, birds, and what not - dissappear, only to reemerge once the fox has passed. I love how with the return of the cold weather I am again able to see my own breath. I have also observed that animals, especially dogs which are panting, often have this fog emerging from their mouths. All of this combined, I painted this piece. Acrylic on Canvas
